Chord Analyser (Chord Finder)4.2.17 - App Store

Chord Analyzer is an interactive reverse chord finder.

Whether you can't identify a chord on a score, are looking for the best notation for a composition, or want to find a new voicing for a chord on the guitar (or any other stringed instrument), Chord Analyzer is the tool for you.

Chord Analyzer bridges the gap between stringed instruments (guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, etc.), the piano, and standard chord notation.

Press the keys on the piano or the frets on the guitar, and the app will instantly identify the chord and suggest its most appropriate notation. You can also browse the built-in chord dictionary to explore every playable position on guitar or banjo.

Powered by a smart algorithm, the app goes far beyond fixed chord shapes - offering many more voicing suggestions than traditional chord dictionaries. Listen to them, play them, tweak them directly in the app, and pick the best fit for your compositions or performances!

The full version extends this intelligent, interactive chord dictionary to less common instruments (7-string guitar, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, violin, and more). It also lets you bookmark your favorite chords to revisit later, and - most importantly - supports open tunings! Retune your instrument freely, knowing you'll always be able to find the right chord shapes.

Also included: a piano-guitar interface designed to make it easy for guitarists and pianists to communicate about complex or original chords.

New: a powerful chord chart editor, with gestures fully designed for mobile. Jot down chord progressions in seconds to capture musical ideas the moment they come to you, or share them with fellow musicians.
